MARCH is a project spanning Europe, bringing together seven countries and numerous institutions and educational establishments, in order to share and promote innovative content and best practices for use in science education for secondary schools.

The project aims to:

- Help young people actively contribute to the learning process

- Promote the relevance of science in everyday life

- Promote science as a force to empower citizens

- Highlight the link between science and future employability

- Reach more than ten thousand schools across Europe

London International Conference, November 2016

The London International Conference will be held on Tuesday 15 November at Burlington House, The Geographical Society, Piccadilly Circus, London, where we will be bringing together educators and institutions to look to the future of education, and address how to make science real for students in school. The day will include discussion sessions on ‘best practices’ both inside and out of the classroom, a panel debate on the future of science education and a chance to interact with experts in education from around the world. A youth panel of students will also be feeding their ideas into the Conference and will present their own ‘Manifesto’.

STEM 'Edu-Showcase'

Join us on the River Thames for an evening STEM ‘Edu-Showcase’ on the same day. Held at the Tattershall Castle river-boat, on London Embankment, the evening aims to celebrate the achievements of the MARCH project. The evening will be a great opportunity to meet teachers, activity providers, STEM Ambassadors and those supporting science, technology, engineering and maths in schools and colleges; and is also a chance to discover other exciting developments in the field of STEM education.
Drop in between 18.00hrs - 22.00hrs, for a drinks and buffet food reception, with presentations starting at 19.00hrs.
